This method is for the QuickBooks desktop version and changes your password instantly. These are the steps you need to follow:- 

1. Run QuickBooks Desktop with an admin account.
2. Go to the Employees menu and select Send Payroll data.
3. Go to the Send/Receive Payroll Data window and tap on Send button.
4. Click on the Forgot Your Pin button in the payroll service PIN window. 
5. Now enter your QuickBooks admin password and click on OK.
6. Enter the new payroll PIN and click on the Submit button to save the changes.

Solution 3: Connect with your bank

Step 1: Check the bank transactions

So, the first thing in such cases is to do the checking on your end. And for that, here is what has to be done.

1. Go to your Quickbooks and then click on the “Banking” menu option. And then choose the “transactions” menu.
2. Next, you will have to just choose the blue blank square for your bank account. The one that you need to disconnect.
3. Now, you will have to just choose the “For Review” tab from the option list.
4. And then you will have to just add and then review the transaction of the list.

Step 2: Now you will have to disconnect the bank account

1. For this, you will have to choose the “banking” option and then click on the “transactions menu” option. 
2. And again you will have to click on the blank square for your account that has to be disconnected.
